What is your cancellation policy?

1. No Refunds for Cancellations: All sauna bookings are non-refundable. Once your booking is confirmed, the full payment is due, regardless of cancellation or no-show.

2. If you need to cancel, we ask for at least three days’ notice. That gives us time to offer your space to someone else, and for us to re-balance the schedule. You are welcome to gift your booking to a friend or family member. Just let us know who will be coming in your place.

3. Rescheduling: More than 3 days’ notice? Cancellations made with more than 3 days’ notice are totally fine but will incur a £5 admin fee per booking.

4. No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, the session will be forfeited, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

5. Emergencies and Exceptions: In exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies), please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot offer refunds, we will assess whether a one-time exception to reschedule is possible, at our discretion. If you need to cancel, we ask for at least three days’ notice. 6. Heal Saunas is rooted in a deep desire to help people reconnect – with nature, and with themselves. We are not a spa. We are not a slick, polished corporate. We are a small, independent team who spend most of our time outside in the woods, in the garden and on the road, delivering something a little bit different: raw, real, wild wellbeing. Because we run things in such a hands-on way, we are often away from laptops and do not have an admin team. There is no receptionist, no call centre. Just 2 of us doing our best to hold space, light fires, and welcome people into the sauna space. This means emails and messages can sometimes take a little while to get a response, particularly over the weekend or within 48 hours of an event. Not because we don’t care, but because we are doing the work, in the elements, face to face. Over time, the number of last-minute alteration requests has grown to a point that it was beginning to affect our ability to deliver the core experience. So we have this clear and fair policy – to protect the quality of what we offer, to manage expectations more transparently, and to help keep things flowing for everyone.

What services does Heal Saunas offer?

We provide authentic wood-fired sauna experiences, changing area, cold shower and cold plunge bath for contrast therapy at our sauna space at The Plough in Coton Cambridge. You can book either a 1 hour communal sauna session or a 2 hour guided sauna ceremony. Heal Saunas is also available for private hire.

What time should I arrive before my session?

Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your booked session to allow time for a briefing. Note, arriving late will shorten your sauna. 5 minutes has been added, to include time for changing.
What do I need to bring with me?

What should I bring to my session?

Please bring 2 towels (one to dry with and one to sit on in the sauna), swimwear, water and any personal items you may need during your visit.

Are there changing facilities on site?

Yes, we have a large changing tipi tent on site at our sauna space and you can access a toilet inside the pub.

How long should I stay in the sauna?

We suggest 10-15 minutes in the sauna followed by a brief cold plunge/shower, repeating this cycle as desired, while listening to your body's signals.

What are the benefits of sauna and cold plunge/shower?

Alternating between heat and cold can improve circulation, boost the immune system, reduce muscle soreness, and promote relaxation and more benefits.

What should I know about health considerations before a sauna?

It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional if you have any medical conditions or concerns. Stay hydrated and listen to your body's limits during sessions.

What is the age limit?

Under 16's to be accompanied by an adult. Nobody under the age of 16 is permitted to use the cold plunge.

What are the terms & conditions of a membership?

Standard membership includes 4x 1 hour sauna sessions per month. Premier membership includes 8x 1 hour sauna sessions per month. 28 days notice to cancel your membership.
